 Riveted Leather Wrap Bracelet Class

Come on down and have some fun with our Riveted Leather Wrap Bracelet class. No experience is necessary. This bracelet can be made as a single-wrap or multi-wrap bracelet, you can even make a great, one-of-a-kind belt! Anthony Binkowski will be facilitating this sought-after class.  

Class fee: $40 plus materials ($20 - $25 on average)

Domed Riveting Tool, Hole Punch, steel block, rawhide/ wood mallet and spare cloth.

Miss Pearl Leather Knotted Bracelet Design Series

 Our newest design has been a huge hit. Fortunately no drilling is required since we have all of your freshwater pearls drilled ahead of time. All you have to do is learn the pattern. These bracelets are so versatile that you can wear it three different ways including as a long necklace, as a double stranded necklace and of course as a multi-wrap bracelet. You can decide to make your design with just the pearls and leather or with accent beads and pearls.

Class fee:  $30 per student

We have two separate kits available

The Miss Pearl Kit: Price $45 dollars which includes emailed Directions, 37 freshwater pearls that have been drilled with a 1.2 mm large hole, 5 yards of leather 1 mm round leather cord and (1) Tree of Life Pewter Button.

The Strawberries and Cream Kit:  Price: $35 dollars which includes: Directions, (16)  6 mm red Faceted Czech glass beads (you can change the color if you like), (1) Tree of Life Pewter Button, 5 yards of 1 mm round leather cord and (24-26) 6-7 mm Pre-drilled, large-hole freshwater Pearls.)

Class Schedule:

Beading 101/ Introduction to Beading and Wirewrapping. 

This class will cover every basic skill you need to learn to make beaded bracelets, necklaces and wire wrapped earrings. There is no need to take a separate wire wrapping class, we teach it all to you in the same class. 

In addition, you also receive 20% off on all of your purchases if you choose to pick up new tools, beads and wire (this is separate from any Living Social or Groupon deal and does exclude sterling silver and gold products).

Soutache Beading ;

A Soutache braid is used in the clothing and sewing industry as a soft rounded trim, in the jewelry design industry we can braid to frame and accent a pendant on Ultrasuede. Soutache braiding is also called Russian braiding and is very easy to do. Previous weaving experience in not necessary, just don't forget to bring your glasses if you need to wear them while working with small seedbeads. Inventory will be supplied in the this called including: Size 11 or 12 beading needles Fireline, 2 lb is fine Seedbeads, size #6 or #8 Ultrasuede 4 mm beads or pearls Large Cabachon or several small cabochons. . 

 Class fee for the Soutache Beading: $50

You can choose to make this design as a necklace, a triple stranded bracelet or you can make both. The colors can be selected to match your color wheel along with the color of the leather or waxed cotton that you braid.

Introducing our newest signature design

The Miss Gracie Shamluu Bracelet!

 Oh yes we did, we took out two most popular design themes of the year and put them into one mega bracelet.  The weight of this design feels so fantastic on your wrist. 

This is a 3.5 hr to 4 hr class and the bracelet is one long continuous strand of leather cord with both the Shamballa and the double stranded Chan Luu design incorporated in it. We suggest that you take the Shamballa and the Chan Luu class prior to this class to make it easier to complete in 3.5 hrs.

Class fee: $50 (plus material costs which average $25-$35 depending on what beads are used in the design.)

This class has always been one of our best deals in the marketplace since you get the class and the sterling silver pendant and necklace all for $65 per person.  In literally two hrs, you will learn the artisan process of handstamping messages into sterling silver disks and walk out with a finished necklace for no additional charge. 

These handcrafted, personalized necklaces sell at $55 and $65 dollars at our store and that is at the 2012 price of silver these days.  All we can say is sign up before the class gets full or before the price increases due to the silver market. Yes, more than one necklace can be made in the class for an additional charge!

Gorgeous Beaded Lariat Class

3 hr class

May 29th, Wednesday afternoon, 12 pm - 3 pm

This can be a girls night out class theme, just call with a date and have all of your guests make their own beaded lariat in 3 hrs or less

Come on down and learn how to make one of the most versatile beaded piece of jewelry you could ever make and own.

This charished Scandanavian design can be worn as a: Necklace, Lariat, Bracelet, Belt (yes it will fit!) and even as a tripled stranded necklace.

Simply pick the colors of crystals and beads that look great on you and we will show you how to create it.

Wire wrapping skills will be trained in this class so if you don't know how to wire wrap, no worries, you will walk out knowing how to do it in your sleep.

A Bead of Roses is proud to announce our newest class, the Beaded Rosary Class. During this 2 hr class you will learn how to make a traditional rosary or you can choose to make a few small wristlet rosary's, it is totally up to you.  All materials are available to make the rosary including the stations, beads and crosses. 

Class fee: $30 plus materials (average cost $20.00-$25.00)

Tools used in this class (which are always provided if you don't bring your own are: crimping pliers, cutters and chain nose pliers.
